Coding Experience:
Hopefully you mean coding in general because none of these pertain to java/minecraft. I've been working with c++ for a while now. At the moment I'm making a game with sdl and opengl and this other small lib..., I've worked with python for longer and have made some small libs, if you can call them that, on top of pygame. Them being: A textBox library, give it a bunch of text and 2 coords and it will make a textBox. It figures out the font size and formats all the text based on options that you provide it. That lib also comes with a text input box... The other very small lib is one for pixel accurate collision detection. I never finished it, it works for objects that are the exact same size, but not anything more. Recently I've been using python for very small things that I need in the moment.
Availability (how often are you available to help us?): I have tons of time (summer). How much I spend on this project will in most cases probably depend on how passionate I am about it.
